Black Mirror Information – How they are conjured & the Intended purposes.

Black mirrors are meant to be used as a Scrying surface for Divination. They can be used to glean insights, foretell futures, connect to your guides/ancestors/Spirit as you see/feel it. Or, if you are particularly spooky, and not into Divining by scrying, you can hang as décor.
Black Mirrors are powerful tools in which we glean insights through it’s inky surface.
Black mirrors help bridge the gap between layers of the veil. Standing as a liminal space submerged in both the known and unknown they can be a window into the abyss for one’s own path forward as well as the paths already traveled.
Just like all “open door” magical tools, the inky black surface could call in or invite negative or low vibe energy if not used with the appropriate intention. We have conjured our black mirrors as we do all our offerings. With the highest good evoked and alignment stated, during the entire creation. With the Scrying Mirrors we went deep with our alignment and energy to ensure you are receiving a blank slate, with no residual or underlying energy attached to it.
While we conjure each mirror, we use affirmations and intentions stating that we are making only a safe tool to aide in magical practices for the highest good only. No negative energy is to come from the depths of this tool. When each mirror is ready to be cleansed, I (Amanda) then anointed a black candle and used incantations and sigil magic to seal and align your mirror. I sealed every crack, front, back and all around its edges and within its surface. These safeguards ensure there are no open doorways, so you can leave your mirror uncovered while not in use, but if you are called to cover, please do so. Always follow your intuition. (If in doubt, reach out to us, we would be happy to help or guide in any way that we can.) If you feel like you are being distracted by your mirror, then it would be a good idea to cover. This happens to me and our kids…a lot, so covering is a must for our family with certain mirrors around our home.
Taking your Mirror (black or polished) out to charge for 9 seconds (specifically, no more no less) in the Sun works wonders. We charge all our Mirrors regularly at our Heathen Moon home and the Mirrors up for offering at Phoenix Rising Metaphysical Emporium in Langley, Bc.
